Free Hugs — inquire within!

Sometimes in life, no matter how hard you try to keep a brave face, we just get worn out.  The day wears on too long; the body is ready to give out before the hours in the day are over; the money runs out before the month does; the kids have WAY more energy than seems humanly possible; the job is sucking the life right out...... Whatever your situation may be, I wanted to take this opportunity to share this link with all of you.  This site was just shown to me by a fellow survivor, someone who knows as much as any of us, how important the unspoken bonds between all of us are.  So without further ado: Free Hugs - inquire within!

The Nicest Place on the Internet

I think we could all use a reminder that we are in this big, crazy world together... and maybe we haven't found the right person, or the right place, or the right moment ... but we just need to keep on keeping on, and the best way to be able to do that is with the support of those around us.

That's why 1 in Four is here -- to help connect you to those supports. But while you're still a digital connection away, please do take a moment to check out the link -- it is worth it!!

About cass

34y/o single mother of one. A survivor of Domestic Violence; an advocate for change to the current Canadian legal system -- stronger sentencing for perpetrators of DV crimes. I believe in advocacy as a means to change. I believe in using your voice to make a difference. I believe in standing up for what is right and standing up for those who can't. I believe in educating young girls and boys of the future generations that there is always a choice and that violence is not the right choice. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" -- Gandhi.

If you give up today, you miss what may come tomorrow!
This really hits home with me. Some days just rolling out of bed in the morning seems like a bigger challenge that it’s worth.
Taking things one step at a time, one minute at a time helps me to get through when the big picture is too overwhelming. Living in the moment is not a bad thing…I really think that is what we are meant to do <3
